Swiss Alpine Hotel Allalin Zermatt

It was a sight to wake up to every morning. The location of the hotel was also ideal, as it was centrally located and within walking distance of all the attractions in Zermatt. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast spread had a wide variety of options, and the staff were helpful and friendly. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in the Swiss Alps.

Not only that, but the service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, giving insightful recommendations. Furthermore, the room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities I could ask for.

Located in the very center of the town, Swiss Alpine Hotel Allalin is conveniently situated next to the cathedral and in front of the cemetery. This allows for easy access to explore the town's cultural and historical sites. The hotel also boasts a prime location near the river, providing a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and good bathrooms. The friendly staff provides excellent service, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including eggs, cold cuts, cheese, muesli. Guests can also enjoy additional amenities such as welcome drinks, happy hour, and even parting gifts.

There is one small aspect that could be improved.

The hotel had a great feel with friendly staff and clean rooms. We loved the afternoon drink and snack provided daily, as well as the cozy sitting area/tea room. The location in the very center of the town next to the cathedral was ideal and made it easy to walk to the best restaurants and shops. The hotel also offered a free eco-shuttle to/from the train station, but it was within a 15-minute walk. The ski bus-stop was conveniently located right beside the hotel. The breakfast had high quality and a good variety of food.

For us, it was ideal.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our Christmas stay very enjoyable. The breakfasts were excellent, with a good variety of options to choose from.

The spa could have been open for longer hours, as we would have loved to relax in the sauna after a long day of skiing. the rooms could have had better soundproofing, as we could hear noise from neighboring rooms.

Spacious rooms with a beautiful view of Matterhorn. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice Christmas-sy feel. Show less in the middle of summer. Excellent location near main street with eateries. Cosy conservatory for breakfast with snowy views.
